About Intrepid Weightlifting Club

Intrepid Weightlifting Club is located inside CrossFit TBR in Anna, Texas and coached by Chris Nethercutt.  The club is dedicated to improving the strength, power, and technique of it's athletes through sound programming and hands-on coaching.  We serve those looking to compete in the sport of weightlifting, improve athletic performance, CrossFitters looking to improve their strength and olympic lifts, and anyone else who enjoys a challenge and the chance to improve.  Our goal as a club is to grow the sport of weightlifting and to develop a community of athletes all working towards the same goal, self improvement.

About The coach

Chris has a B.S. in Sport Management with a Minor in Sport Science, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength & Conditioning Association. He is a Level 2 Coach for USA Weightlifting, and is currently finishing up his Master’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sport Performance. Chris has been training athletes of all levels and coaching weightlifting since 2013 in a variety of formats such as small group training, team training, and 1-on-1 training. He has experience working with athletes from a variety of sports including football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, hockey, tennis, gymnastics, and swimming. His own playing experience in sports includes basketball, soccer, hockey, cross country, track, and baseball, and he continues to be involved in athletics by currently competing in the sport of Olympic weightlifting which he was introduced to in 2012 through CrossFit. Thanks to his wide range of experience and educational background, Chris is able to provide training programs that can help any athlete improve in their respective sport.

Remote Coaching

For athletes that can't train at our facility but want to improve their weightlifting ability.  Receive individualized weightlifting programming that fits your schedule and addresses your individual weaknesses.

Onsite Weightlifting Club Training

For athletes or individuals looking for a 3-Day or 5-Day training program focused on improving the olympic lifts.  Train in-person with the weightlifting club on the club program or receive individualized programming to target your weaknesses.

Sport Performance Training

A 3-day program for youth and teen athletes that want to jump higher, run faster, or be stronger. Group training is split up by age to ensure athletes are exposed to the appropriate level of training.

1-on-1 Training

Do you have specific training goals or want direct attention from a coach for training.  We offer 1 hour training sessions for those looking for a full workout. There are also 30 minute session for those that need a quick workout or only need coaching on specific items.
